Monforte’s work is a journey – sorting sources, keeping and discarding, things, ideas, juxtapositions. His work is conversation, happenstance and theatre, in which disparate elements assert themselves and their relationship – become much more than the sum of the parts, and hence, cause us to question the power of the object itself. Monforte creates contexts, worlds, stories.
